52 new releases added to Spotify!

Hello friends, hope you are well. Just a quick post to let you know that earlier today Spotify added a further 52 Record Union releases to their catalogue. Thats 400 tracks! This batch inlcludes Manon Dave´s remix of Nelly Furtado “Say it Right”. For a full list of the releases which were added, you can check out this spreadsheet. Needless to say, we have more releases than any other european indpendent distributor. Happy time!

    Great! and we have new record!

    ‘Troublemakers - Made In Sweden’ made it from release at Record Union to Spotify in 15 days!!! that’s rad!!

    But still no signs of these two releases!!!!

    Ophidian Forest’s album Redbad was released on Record Union 7.7.2009 (10 weeks) and Joachim Willumsen’s EP Northern Heart Western Soul was released on Record Union 23.7.2009 (8 weeks).

    I must ask one thing, can i do a remix of any artist whitout there permission and then release the remix as mine and make money of it? doesent i brake their copyright then?

    Any remixes, sampling and covers must be cleared with the relevent copyright holder(s), otherwise it can be conisdered copyright infringement! By signing up to Record Union and distributing your music with us, you agree to only distribute music which you have the rights to. This is very important! : )
